Will James Franklin get his man next Friday? That’s when Michal Menet, the top recruit in Pennsylvania, decides on his college.

Reading’s Michal Menet announced on Twitter tonight that he will unveil his college choice at on May 29 (3 p.m.) at his school, Exeter Township. He made it known earlier this spring that he will pick between Penn State and Duke.

Menet (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) is ranked as the nation’s No. 7 offensive tackle by Rivals.com and a Top 100 prospect overall. His long list of scholarship offers include UCLA, Stanford, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Auburn, Alabama, Florida State and Georgia.

Menet’s commitment would be another key to rebuilding Penn State’s depleted offensive line as well as continue coach James Franklin’s early recruiting dominance in the state. This 2016 recruiting class already includes highly-regarded center/guard Connor McGovern from Lake Lehman and Miles Sanders, the state’s top-ranked tailback, from Woodland Hills.

Penn State’s No. 2 offensive line hopeful appears to be guard Will Fries, the top-rated overall recruit in New Jersey, according to Scout.com
